Yepstr is built on the vision of giving all youths a chance. In our app teenagers can find their first jobs in their neighborhood (babysitting, dog-minding etc.). As our Yeps (Young Entrepreneurs) level up they can charge higher hourly rates and eventually accept jobs for companies. We make sure the process is fun and safe. As a React developer at Yepstr you are at the very front of the line. Being part of a tight dev team you are entirely responsible for your own code and your own work. But with great responsibility comes great power. 

You are a highly technical person who is always curious about learning new things. At Yepstr you will have the opportunity to try out every aspect of working in a small fast-paced team. You don’t shy away from expressing leadership - whether it be technical leadership, building a great culture or setting the bar high.

You have at least one year of professional React Native experience and you know most of the best practices of the framework. You know the difference between a "beautiful" solution and a "quick-and-dirty" one.

It's a big plus if you also have experience in backend development and noSQL databases.

Location

Yepstr HQ is located in Stockholm, but you don't necessarily have to. We have a well developed remote culture and we value skills, drive and thirst for knowledge over proximity to the office. The only thing we do require is that you live in a neighbouring timezone. If you are reading this and do live in Sweden, we have a beautiful office in Gamla Stan that we'd love for you to come visit. If you don't live in Sweden and decide to join Yepstr we will fly you to the office a couple times a year to make sure you are a part of our awesome team.

Base qualifications:

• 1+ years of React Native experience

• TypeScript (we do full stack TypeScript)

The product team that you'll be spending the majority of your time with consists of battle-scarred software engineers with years of experience as well as self-taught developers with a crazy passion for coding.
