We are looking for a talented graphic designer for Sustainia's advisory team. Start in 2023 or 2024. As an intern graphic designer at Sustainia, you will be part of an ambitious firm that simplifies sustainability. We specialize in strategic consulting and fact-based storytelling for sustainable organizations. We work for private and public organizations with global ambition.
We see graphics as a powerful tool for simplifying complex matters and making them more engaging for audiences. Here are a few ways we use graphics in our work with ESG strategy and creative communications:
Visualization: Graphics can represent complex data or concepts in a visual format that is easier for people to understand and remember. For example, a chart or graph can quickly convey trends or relationships in large data sets that might be difficult to comprehend otherwise.
Simplification: Graphics can break down complex processes or systems into simpler components, making them easier to understand. This can be done through diagrams, flowcharts, or infographics that present information in a step-by-step or hierarchical format.
Emphasis: Graphics can highlight key points or concepts that are important for audiences to remember. This can be done through the use of bold colors, images, or other design elements that draw attention to specific parts of the graphic.
Interactivity: Graphics can be made more engaging by incorporating interactive elements such as animations, clickable icons, or other features that allow audiences to explore the content in more depth.
The internship is open to both students who are currently enrolled in a master's degree and recent graduates with similar experience.
We are interested in people who are independent, possess wit and mind, and have the ability to take initiative and deliver results. This makes for a flexible environment where we focus our energy on the actual impact we bring to our clients. As we work with a mix of international customers, you must master the English language verbally and in writing - if you're fluent in Danish or Norwegian, that is a plus.
With us, both remote and a place in the office in Copenhagen is an option, so please state your preference. Starting time can be flexible, and we are open for internships lasting 4 to 6 months and four to five days a week. We provide a scholarship of DKK 3,000 monthly (b-income) and if you are with us five days a week, you can take a monthly day off. Work is flexible though, and we are prepared to offer time off in peak times on an individual basis.
We often get quite many applications each day, but read them all, so it may take some time before we return. If we see a match, we will invite you to an assignment, followed by an interview, and a possible second assignment, before we make a final selection and return with an offer.
We typically have several analysts and have parallel recruitment processes, so feel free to apply immediately.
That's it - we are looking forward to hearing from you! :-)
