Teacherspace is looking for a CTO on our mission to help any teachers become the teachers they want to be and thereby improving well-being and learning outcomes for children anywhere.
We have a great founding team, an important problem to work on, a live product, paying customers, and great investors.
Teacherspace is a Copenhagen-based EdTech startup looking for a CTO
The ideal profile is a full-stack developer who is eager to learn and passionate about education
We have a product, users, customers, and great early investors
Both founders have experience within our space and we offer a salary and significant equity
At Teacherspace we help schools recruit and retain teachers through video-based mentoring and feedback. We enable every teacher to become the teacher they want to be.
Our mobile apps for iOS and Android make it easy and secure for teachers to record their classroom, while our web app makes it easy for mentors and colleagues to provide feedback.
We currently sell two products: mentoring subscriptions and our SaaS product.
Some of our first investors are great entrepreneurs like Phil Chambers from Peakon and David Kofoed Wind from Eduflow.
Just in our first year, we have sold for €68k to schools and school districts.
Our first users and customers love Teacherspace and recommend us to their peers.
We have all tried it. Having a teacher that you absolutely love. Someone you looked up to and who had a big impact on your life.
Maybe reading this will make you reminisce about what a difference she made for you. We want to help teachers reach their full potential and believe it can be accomplished with feedback, guidance, and support.
To do that we need to build a great and user-friendly way for teachers to get feedback that fits into their workflow.
Being a teacher is exceptionally difficult and there is little time and opportunities to get feedback on what matters the most: what happens in your classroom.
We are two curious and ambitious people who have more than 10 years of experience with education and the problems for teachers we want to solve.
We have raised money, worked in education built teams and organizations, and taught and mentored teachers before so we have seen the problem we want to solve up close.
We are deeply passionate about making products that help teachers and we are in this for the long run.

The value we want to create at Teacherspace will be created in close collaboration with teachers, so you should be curious about teachers and their lives and challenges.
You should get excited about the prospect of being the CTO and all the messy hands-on work that comes from that, as well as the long-term perspective of setting the strategy and being responsible for a great engineering team, that you will recruit and lead.
We are based in Copenhagen but you can be based anywhere +/- 3 time zones.
