MyPeterinarian is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated veterinarian to join our team. As a veterinarian, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our clients' beloved pets. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating illnesses and providing preventive care for animals. You must hold a veterinary degree and be licensed to practice in the country you are working in.

✅  Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals.

• Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in animals.

• Perform minor surgical procedures when necessary.

• Communicate with pet owners regarding their animal's health and treatment options.

• Maintain accurate medical records.

• Collaborate with other veterinary professionals as needed.

• Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and new treatment options.

• Provide exceptional care and compassion to all animals under your care.

• Treat and prevent an array of animal diseases and illnesses.

• Conduct tests and observations to provide a proper diagnosis.

• Prescribe necessary medications.

• Administer vaccines to prevent common diseases.

• Provide therapy or other treatments to heal animal injuries.

• Communicate with animal owners to answer questions and educate them on situations and treatment plans.

• Head out into the field to inspect and treat livestock and their living conditions when required.

• Conduct research and development to advance the veterinary medicine field.

• Collaborate with veterinary assistants and other staff to provide top-notch care to customers.

• Assist in the setup and implementation of pet dentistry services, contributing to their success and health.

• Willingness to perform additional services, such as pet sitting, dog walking, and dog boarding (if possible).

• Play a key role in growing our clientele by providing exceptional care and service.

• Actively promote the company and contribute to its overall growth and success.

• Confidently work as the sole veterinarian, managing all aspects of patient care and making sound medical decisions.

  
  

⭐️ Veterinarian Requirements and Qualifications:

• Lives and is able to work in Denmark.

• Holds a Danish Veterinary License.

• Proficient in medical procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Passion for animals and an active interest in their health and well-being.

• Knowledge of all veterinary best practices, and a desire to advance the field.

• Excellent verbal communication skills to build rapport and adequately communicate with patients and staff.

• Problem-solving capabilities with a willingness to tackle unique challenges.

• High emotional intelligence with the ability to empathize with families.

• Ability to manage time, prioritize, and thrive in an oftentimes fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

• Strong leadership skills.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.

• Possession of a veterinary license and willingness to continually meet licensing requirements.

• At least 2-3 years of veterinary experience in a clinic or animal hospital environment.

• Flexibility to work up to 8 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours as bookings grow, from Monday to Friday, based on job demand.
