We are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) who is passionate about sales, marketing, business development, startups, tech, and wellness.
We’re on a mission to offer wellness and massage to everybody. Literally! Using technology, our non-human masseuse offers high-quality but affordable massages. It also never gets tired and doesn’t need small talk.
Our franchise concept draws some similarities to the tanning salon model. Our vision is to have an automated massage salon in every major city in the world.
Our short-term goal is to open 3 salons in Denmark. That would make us franchise and Seed round ready.
You’ll play a key role in bringing Self. to the next level by driving the company’s overall commercial strategy. As part of the management team, you will work closely with the CEO to set the company’s direction.
The current co-founder team is highly technical and product-focused, though also have a good understanding of business and commercial thinking.
While running our sales and marketing activities, we expect the CCO to have a growth-hacking mindset and to operate on a tight budget.
This role will be responsible for driving demand and growth of our product, defining the go-to-market strategy, building the customer base, bringing in revenue, driving customer engagement and retention, creating strong commercial partnerships, developing our brand strategy, marketing communications, and most importantly, making the company profitable.
With an understanding of the chaos and lack of structure that sometimes describe a start-up, the ideal candidate will enjoy seeking opportunities and will be energized by our high ambitions and growth expectations, embracing the challenge of building an international company from nothing. With equal importance to the background, we will focus on each candidate’s leadership approach and competencies for this role.
Note: The expected start date for this role is Spring 2024.
Validating the business model (franchise/licensing etc)
