Float is looking for a talented software engineer to join our team in Copenhagen. We already have a product that our customers love but we need your help to make it even better.

About Float

Float is a startup building an analytics platform for e-commerce apparel companies to help them reduce returns. With a data-driven approach to returns, our platform helps our customers uncover insights about why their customers return their purchases, and what they should do about it. On top of our platform, we have built a series of automated tools and integrations that further help our customers turn our analytical insights into action. The company was founded in 2022 and is based in Copenhagen. We are a small team consisting of two co-founders and one employee.

About the role

You will be joining a team of two engineers (one co-founder), where you will be building across our entire stack. Your voice will be very important in architectural decisions, our roadmap, and all things technical on the journey to build the best possible product for our customers. You can expect close collaboration with both co-founders.

You're the right person for the role if you:

• Have a strong background in Python and preferably also Javascript/Typescript

• Have experience with building larger software systems

• Are able to operate at multiple levels of abstraction in a complex software system

• Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related educational background / equivalent experience

  
  

Our entire stack is built on AWS so it is an advantage if you have experience with that or another big cloud vendor. Technology we use includes Postgres, NoSQL (DynamoDB), Redis, React, AWS CDK as our IaaC and much more.
