Soil is an early-stage bio- and health tech startup founded by individuals who love the science behind health. Our mission is to prevent and reverse the growing mental health crisis by taking a holistic approach to mental wellness through a digital health application. We're collaborating with DTU Skylab and Compute Science department to bring our first prototype to the market.

The position

We're looking for a motion designer intern who can help us effectively communicate our message with the world and at the same time create a wow experience with beautiful animations and visual effects.

We are embarking on an exciting project of designing an AI entity for our digital health coaching app, and you will be a central part of a multi-disciplinary team that is passionate about innovating and pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the realm of digital health. In this role, you will be creating captivating visuals and animations to enhance the user experience and make the AI entity come alive.

While the internship is unpaid, we're committed to providing you with an enriching experience that includes mentorship, responsibility, and exposure to our extensive network. You will gain hands-on experience working on an exciting, innovative project at the frontier of digital health and technology.

Responsibilities

• Create motion graphics assets and animations

• Develop interactions, transitions, and animations

• Give input to and follow a consistent graphical style and other visual requirements

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Motion Design, or a related field

• Proficiency in design and animation software like Adobe After Effects, Rive, or similar

• A keen eye for aesthetics and details

• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices

• Passionate about mental & emotional health and eager to make a difference

• Creative mindset with strong communication skills

• Ability to meet deadlines
