Job Description:

We are seeking a knowledgeable Backend Developer who is proficient in Node.js, GraphQL, and various DevOps tools. The selected candidate will take on a pivotal role in the development and optimization of our back-end code, managing our DevOps, and handling database integrations with systems such as PostgreSQL, SQL, and MongoDB.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Design robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients.

• Develop and maintain server-side logic, and manage database integrations.

• Implement, manage and optimize scalable distributed systems in the cloud.

• Optimize the application for speed and scalability.

• Implement security and data protection measures.

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy, or similar.

• Manage AWS services including EC2 and S3.

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.

• Collaborate with the team to address technical and design requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Backend developer.

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and GraphQL.

• Proficiency in database systems, including PostgreSQL, SQL, and MongoDB.

• Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy or similar is a plus.

• Familiarity with Docker, EC2, S3.

• Familiarity with Golang, Java, Apollo Federation is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.
