You will be joining a (kick-ass) international business development team, and work closely with our VP of Business Development and Sales, to help reach our growth targets in pivotal markets, with a special focus on Germany.
We are 20,000+ bicycles large, serving 300,000+ customers across +70 cities and looking to continue to scale! The job offers the ambitious goal of positioning Donkey Republic as the partner of choice for bike-share operations in the DACH market, aiming at developing scalable and long-lasting local partnerships.
What you’ll be doing: We are looking for a driven team player who thrives in an environment where we work towards shared goals. Someone who can push hard proactively, both individually and collectively. Our city and project partners access probably the best bike share in the world via our customer-facing app, fleet management system, owner’s app, bikes, etc. In projects where cities and transportation companies run large (public) procurement processes, Donkey Republic delivers hardware and software and also takes on the local operations.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Driving leads into long-term business relationships with municipalities, public transportation providers, or other independent companies and campuses looking to partner with us in our journey to make every ride count while adding value to existing strategic relations.
Develop and implement sales and PR strategy for the DACH market. Ensuring we hit our growth targets.
Participating in teleconferences, face-to-face meetings and attending international conferences.
Negotiating proposals and partnerships.
Working on tenders, public procurement processes and tender strategies.
The job will likely entail some traveling to cities in Europe such as Berlin, Munich and Kiel.

We would also like you to:
Have several years of experience in sales and business development successfully closing deals with large partnering companies (1000+ employees; $1bn+ revenue), and with public authorities
Have worked in the transport/mobility industry before
Have worked with start-ups / scale-ups, or young and dynamic businesses before
Want to change the world with bikes.
Posses an international understanding.
