We are looking for...

...a Lead Developer with strong back-end skills to lead our team of great engineers, some based in the heart of Copenhagen and some working remotely.

Our tech stack is JavaScript-heavy in both front-end and back-end. We have a philosophy of enabling horizontal movement across the stack, to ensure that we can support each other and work as a team. We employ an agile methodology, working in 2-week sprints based on prioritized epics/stories and with daily stand-ups.

You would be a great fit if you have been, with great success, working with SQL, PostgreSQL, Node.js, API development, Redis, Caching, and High-load / high-availability architecture. If you know React, HTML, and CSS that would be a plus.

Also, if you feel comfortable and confident, and have the track record to prove it, in identifying, defining, and implementing technical solutions for web products to successfully fulfill the needs of customers.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience managing, developing, and coordinating engineering capacity

• Strong DevOps experience (i.e. code testing, deployment, tooling, and scaling)

• Minimum +5 years’ relevant experience

• Extensive hands-on exposure to building the front end and backend of web products

• Broad understanding of UI and UX guidelines and possibilities

• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with short and long-term goals

• An understanding of all roles involved in product development—from product management to marketing—and the ability to explain how each one adds value to the business

• Fluency in English
