As the B2B Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing a high-performing sales team. Company Size: We're a startup with a diverse team consisting of 2 founders, 5 employees, several mentors, researchers, and suppliers, united by the same goal: To create the best and most sustainable leather alternative by upcycling food waste.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy to achieve revenue targets
Build a robust sales pipeline
Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organizations
Identify client needs, understand their pain points, and provide tailored solutions.
Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Conduct regular business reviews with clients to identify opportunities
Sales Team Development:
Onboard, and train new sales team members.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to drive individual and team success
Set clear sales targets, track performance, and provide regular feedback to team members
Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture within the team.
Develop and implement sales processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor sales performance metrics and generate regular reports for senior management
Analyze sales data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to optimize sales outcomes
Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the overall budgeting and planning process
Degree/education in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a minimum of three years of experience
Highly numbers-driven mindset, consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive sales targets
Excellent communication skills
Service-minded attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools
Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to take ownership of projects and initiatives related to driving sales growth
Experience in the textile industry is a plus
