We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2B Sales Manager to join our fast-growing startup. As the B2B Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing a high-performing sales team. Your primary focus will be on building and managing relationships with key business clients, closing deals, and exceeding sales targets. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in laying the foundation for our future sales team and contributing to the overall growth strategy of the company.

Company Size: We're a startup with a diverse team consisting of 2 founders, 5 employees, several mentors, researchers, and suppliers, united by the same goal: To create the best and most sustainable leather alternative by upcycling food waste.


Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy to achieve revenue targets

    • Build a robust sales pipeline

    • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments


  2. Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target organizations

    • Identify client needs, understand their pain points, and provide tailored solutions.

    • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

    • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to identify opportunities


  3. Sales Team Development:

    • Onboard, and train new sales team members.

    • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to drive individual and team success

    • Set clear sales targets, track performance, and provide regular feedback to team members

    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture within the team.

    • Develop and implement sales processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness


  4. Sales Reporting and Analysis:

    • Monitor sales performance metrics and generate regular reports for senior management

    • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to optimize sales outcomes

    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the overall budgeting and planning process


Qualifications:

  • Degree/education in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a minimum of three years of experience

  • Highly numbers-driven mindset, consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive sales targets

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Service-minded attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and generate actionable insights

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to take ownership of projects and initiatives related to driving sales growth

  • Experience in the textile industry is a plus
