The company

GRAD ApS is a Danish startup on a mission: to sustainably refine the global beverage cooling industry.  Located on Vesterbro in Copenhagen and based on its patent pending technology and award winning design, GRAD has developed a portfolio of “Perfect Serve” cooling products for the global hospitality industry.  The product has gained international traction and the company is currently scaling up fast on several markets globally.

The position

You will be part of a friendly and international team where you will be handed the crucial role and responsibility of aligning operations and processes during the scale-up phase of the company. From the first day you will be expected to roll up your sleeves and combine hands-on job tasks with a more holistic, strategic approach to the company build. You will be the CEO's right hand and work very closely with internal and external stakeholders (both on execution and strategic levels) while being in charge of the daily operations and ensuring the team is achieving the company targets and goals and realizes its full potential.  

The position suits someone with experience in production, with an interest in operations, who thrives in having many tasks/processes running simultaneously and who enjoys a high degree of work flexibility and responsibility. The candidate for this role would also have a deep technology understanding and would be expected to help the engineering team with design and product construction. You have experience in volume production and would oversee production optimization processes and COGS reduction of the product portfolio while being responsible for cashflow/budget planning and reporting.

You would be expected to have a strong business mindset and help close agreements with suppliers and supply chain partners. You are a very structured person who always delivers top results where the details are always on point. You will from the start be part of the leadership team and from day one you can expect to be an integral part of the company.   Most important of all you are a team player with good communication skills and a positive can-do attitude. Work assignments

• Daily operations and processes (general administrative tasks and team lead)

• ERP system integration and up-scaling

• Stakeholder communication (internal and external updates, and strategic direction alignment)

• Working capital and cash flow planning and reporting (general budgeting)

• Overview production and batch size optimization and components flow

• Product construction and engineering support (preferable but not mandatory)

• Employee/team development

• Ad hoc tasks including compliance; IP portfolio; strategic programs and projects; key account management etc.

Software proficiency

• CAD Software (preferable)

• ERP systems

The candidate

• You have experience in production with a positive can-do attitude.

• You have worked with budgeting and cashflow/working capital planning and reporting.

• You are a team player who loves to support and see other people grow and realise their full potential.

• You have experience in working in a startup or scaleup environment and understand the underlying mechanisms of MVP and a strong value proposition.
