StepUp Health is a young and ambitious company, building a novel medical device for COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) market. We are delivering new approaches of COPD management and bringing control of the disease to the patients back. Our wearables are based on breathing, a vital parameter that has been much forgotten but contains so much information. We help patients live a better life & for the health care professionals – better understanding of their patients' condition.

Experienced and passionate about medical technologies?

We're seeking a part-time or full-time intern, ideally with a background in business development and healthcare, to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the product development process, helping us build a device that best serves our target market. This will include conducting market research, creating partnerships, aiding in usability analysis, and providing valuable input on product features.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research: Conduct surveys and interviews with doctors, hospitals, and universities to gain insights and feedback, and implement a feedback loop to improve our value proposition and market fit.

2. Networking: Build a network of healthcare professionals to facilitate information exchange and potential partnerships.

3. Partnerships: Foster relationships with hospitals, doctors, and research institutes that can help advance our mission.

4. Usability Case Analysis: Contribute to the evaluation and refinement of the device's usability, working closely with our product development team.

5. Value Proposition Development: Assist in developing and refining our value proposition to ensure it aligns with market needs and our company goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Currently studying Business or Healthcare (nurse, doctor, general practitioner).

2. Fluency in English; ideally in Danish too.

3. Interest in respiratory diseases and medical technology.

4. Experience or interest in entrepreneurship.

5. Strong communication and creative problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to work independently and take initiative.
