Hey there! We're looking for a tech-savvy, creative and innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our startup! We need someone who lives and breathes tech, loves to stay ahead of the curve, and knows how to make our platform stand out in a sea of competitors.

As our CTO, you'll be the brains behind our technology strategy, vision, and direction of the company, leading our future team of developers to build and maintain a top-notch application that delivers a seamless user experience that our users will love. You'll work closely with our CEO, CMO and other key stakeholders, ensuring that our product remains at the forefront of the industry.

Our startup is all about making social media fun and engaging while helping you find inspiration for the coolest and trendiest experiences and places. And we need a talented and experienced CTO to help us take our platform to the next level.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives

• Manage and mentor a team of future developers, providing technical guidance, support, and feedback to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively

• Work closely with the CEO, CMO and other stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and functionality, ensuring that we deliver the best-in-class user experience

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices, and leverage that knowledge to drive innovation and competitive differentiation (AI, Machine Learning for SoMe)

• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our platform by implementing best practices in cloud-based infrastructure and database management

• Oversee the design and development of our front-end user interface (preferred through Figma) and APIs, ensuring that they are intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing

• Collaborate with future cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success, to drive user acquisition and retention, and to collect feedback and insights that inform product development

Requirements:

• Senior experience in mobile application development, with a focus on modern front-end frameworks and APIs

• Experience managing and mentoring a team of developers, including recruiting, performance management, and coaching

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges

• A passion for user experience design and a keen eye for detail

• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and database management, and an understanding of data security and privacy regulations

• A track record of driving innovation and competitive differentiation through the use of emerging technologies and best practices

• A desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment where things can change quickly and adaptability is key
