At Seasony, a venture-backed robotics startup, we believe that mobile robotics automation is the key to unlocking the massive potential of vertical farming. Our goal is to enable vertical farming to be profitable, scalable, and efficient by developing the autonomous mobile robot Watney, tailored to meet the requirements of modern indoor farms. 

We are seeking a talented and ambitious UX/UI intern to join our product team to research, design, and test digital interfaces for our web application and marketing materials. As an intern, you will be responsible for creating intuitive user interfaces and graphical designs to improve user experience and engagement. You will work closely with our head of strategy and software development team, being hands-on in going from design to development. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and create visually appealing user interfaces and graphical designs for our web application and marketing materials 

• Work with our design system and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability 

• Collaborate with our software development team to ensure design quality and timely implementation 

• Participate in user research and testing to improve the user experience 

• Provide and implement feedback from internal stakeholders 

Qualifications: 

• A degree in UI/UX design or a related field or completed course in Interactive Design or similar field 

• Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping either by yourself or in teams 

• Prior experience in UI/UX design 

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently 

• Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills 

• Fluency in English - written and spoken 

Bonus Qualifications: 

• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 

• Experience working in teams with frontend or full stack developers 

• Application design experience
