KHORA
KHORA is an award-winning XR production studio of 35 full-timers founded in 2015, dedicated to widening access to AR & VR technologies. With over 400 experiences and a hundred thousand people introduced to XR, we operate across industries to drive meaningful change through immersive media.
We aim to increase access to augmented and virtual reality (AR & VR) and produce experiences that connect us to our shared home and each other and that address real-world challenges, needs, and desires.
You will be part of a team that delivers exciting VR and AR projects, and you will manage and engage in large-scale, internationally recognisable XR projects.
We're seeking an experienced technical Project Manager to manage large-scale, multi-partner European projects in the AR & VR space. The ideal candidate should understand AR, VR and 3D workflows strongly. As a Technical Project Manager, you'll be able to work at the forefront of emerging technologies, collaborating with international partners and managing projects and critical partnerships from kick-off to delivery.
You will run technical and creative VR and AR productions in close dialogue with European partners on the one hand, and Khora’s development team on the other.
International Project Management and Project Execution
Participation and representation of Khora in multi-stakeholder consortia, project kick-offs, conferences, and meetings, ensuring that Khora has a solid voice at the forefront of technological advancements.
Scoping complex projects and translating work packages into manageable tasks while estimating timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
Building lasting relations with people from different organizations and professions.
Ensuring that project milestones and deliverables are met with high quality.
Technological research, mapping, and advising on breakthroughs in XR (AR, VR, haptic devices, volumetric video capturing, 3D scanning, and AI) while identifying opportunities for expanding Khora's portfolio across industries.
Enthusiastic and curious about new technologies, especially AR/VR/XR, and how they can be leveraged to tackle individual, societal, or ecological challenges.
Expertise and interest in the EU system and knowledge of working with multiple stakeholders on government-funded research and innovation actions.
Solid communication skills and a flair for engaging others with curiosity and an open mind.
Ability to balance competing priorities and to act on constructive advice and feedback.
You can work independently and seek advice from your peers in a proactive, timely, and productive way.
2-5 years+ of project management experience, preferably within technology, media, or IT. An advantage of having worked with projects built in Unity and a plus if you have hands-on development or 3D experience
A strong understanding of AR, VR, and 3D. A plus if you have experience or interest in haptic devices, volumetric video, 3D scanning, and AI.
Relevant work experience related to EU programs (such as Horizon, Creative Europe, Erasmus) or similar
International professional experience
Educational Background: Preferably a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with project management tools (e.g. Forecast)
Capable of breaking down complex projects into manageable tasks, estimating timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, and adjusting project plans accordingly.
Outstanding verbal and written English skills
Experience working in an agency or production studio
You like learning from others and are empathetic towards colleagues, partners, and clients.

You will work in the intersection of our Business Development and Production teams and report to the European Projects Lead.
