Legal Desk is Denmark’s leading provider of automated legal services online and we are experiencing rapid growth. In the last year, we have more than doubled in size in terms of employees and tripled in revenue.
Our team currently consists of 48 dedicated people that all share the nerdy obsession of automating legal processes through our platform. With more than 160.000 registered users, the platform is undergoing continuous changes and improvements and we are always developing new legal services. This is why we are looking for a front-end developer to join our dev team.
As a front-end developer for Legal Desk you will become an integral part of our dev team, which currently has 7 team members. Development is done in close collaboration with the UX and design team, and we move quickly from idea to execution and everybody contributes with their professional insight and ideas.
Collaboration is done in Azure DevOps, and we work with the agile methodology using scrum, with daily standups and work divided into 2 week iteration sprints and scheduled deployment after every sprint. As our new front-end developer you will work closely with our Scrum master Pwint and our Tech Lead Vladica, who you will be reporting to.
We are just started an exciting migration process, where we are updating our entire code base. This includes introducing vue.js to all our front-end code, and all new features built will continue to use this. As our new front-end developer you will play a critical part in assisting on this process.
More specifically you will be working on tasks for:
Platform design implementation: implementation of new designs and features in collaboration with our designer and full-stack developers
Website modernization: modernizing and improving the existing website by migrating the older technologies stack like javascript, jquery and knockout.js into something more progressive, performant and versatile framework using Vue.js
The position is full-time (37 hours/week) on-site at our office in Islands Brygge (5 min. from a metro station) with an expected start as soon as possible. Salary will be based on seniority and qualifications.
We are looking for an ambitious and driven front-end developer with a passion for creating great-looking web apps. We imagine you have a few years of experience as a front-end developer with solid knowledge of Vue.js, and can check off requirements below:
Need to have qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience in front-end development using Vue.js
Experience with HTML5 and CSS3
Experience with Javascript and jQuery
Proficient understanding of Git
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Fluent in English (no Danish needed)
Able to work on-site at our office in Copenhagen
Nice to have qualifications:
Experience with Nuxt.js
Experience with KnockoutJS
Experience with Server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
