As Dripdrop’s Production Lead, you’ll play a key part in putting an untraditional eco-friendly Danish rain tech startup on the map. Dripdrop is the leading hotel umbrella service in the world. Our customer base primarily consists of the biggest and most recognized brands such as Radisson, Hilton, Marriott, Scandic, and so on. Before you know it, Dripdrop will be a standard service offering in most hotels. The road to that is paved with building a highly-skilled, extremely customer-focused, and well-greased team that delivers top-class products on a very regular schedule.

About the role
You care about the environmental and social impact of Dripdrop. We plant a tree for every umbrella rental. The umbrellas are made from recycled materials and our business model is intentionally focused on less and better.
You are a highly motivated and experienced person that will manage and coordinate our products across a series of suppliers and manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, sourcing, and stakeholder management.
You’re motivated by working hard and smart towards big goals, making an impact, and developing your career within the tech and startup scene.
You are highly structured and precise.
You are not afraid to get your hands dirty - For example at our partner factory in Aalestrup.
You’ll work closely with and report to one of our founders, Mattias Edström.
What you’ll do
Manage the production process of umbrella stands and umbrellas
Plan and execute production plans with several external partners and stakeholders
Manage supply chain, inventory, and spares for our products
Collaborate with the rest of the internal Dripdrop team to make sure we live up to our customers and our own very high expectations and quality standards
Define timelines, milestones, and resources, and ensure deadlines are reached on time and within budget
Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
Oversee the production process, including supply, production scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
Preparing and configuring our products and components for production
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including vendors, freelancers, and clients
From time to time travel to meet with suppliers and customers
Ad-hoc tasks like everyone else in the small and agile team
What you have
Bachelor's degree in a related field
5+ years of experience in production management of steelwork and electronics goods or similar relevant work
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to understand and create technical drawings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Our lovely and not very huge office space is placed centrally in Aarhus (Nørre Alle 70).
NOTE: This position requires the candidate to be in the Dripdrop office some days of the week, i.e. fully remote is not an option at this point. Specifically in the beginning, we’ll be expecting to spend a fair amount of time together to get to know each other.
