Cheetah is a Berkeley-born, venture-backed startup building intelligent software to accelerate AI's speed and energy consumption in embedded applications such as drones, autonomous vehicles, and smart buildings. We are looking for a talented and dedicated UI/UX Designer to join our team and help design user interfaces and experiences for our groundbreaking products and platforms.
As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for co-developing our digital platforms' strategy behind and user experience. This position includes researching, brainstorming, designing, developing, and implementing optimal user flows across various touchpoints. You will work on the overall user experience in all aspects and phases of production, creating and improving the UI/UX for our software, web applications, and marketing materials. We're seeking someone who is passionate about the end-to-end user experience, incorporating elements like animations, graphic design, micro-interactions, accessibility, and user research. Most importantly, we're looking for a key product team member who will be at the core of the startup development.
What you will do
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Transform design briefs into intuitive UX designs that function across different platforms
Produce wireframes, flows, mockups and interactive prototypes as you explore and iterate towards a working solution
Create the structure and user journey of different application interfaces while ensuring to maintain a hierarchy of information and clear communication
Develop and maintain UX and UI needs following project’s art direction and design requirements
Work closely with the team and the customers to deliver the best possible consistent user experience while staying within the engine’s technical requirements
Take an active role in the implementation and feature delivery and test the integration of features
Conduct user research
Iterate quickly based on feedback from users or raised by the development team
Actively participate in qualitative review meetings

Hard skills:
You have a solid understanding of UX and UI design principles and best practices
You are proficient in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
You have experience, knowledge and/or a passion for data visualization
You are able to create interactive prototypes that range from simple to complex
You document your work well, showing your process, design thinking, and creating an easy reference for others
Prior experience or relevant degree as a UX/UI designer is preferred
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
INTERN VERSION (Unpaid internship)
Starting date: As soon as possible.
Duration: 6 months, with a possibility of extension and/or hiring on a part-time/full-time basis.
Employment: This is an unpaid internship, and we welcome students, recent graduates, or individuals seeking to apply for this role to flex their UX/UI and Digital Product Design experience. We also invite students interested in doing their Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis in collaboration with our company.
Location: Our office is located in central Copenhagen, Denmark.
