The position
Our company is seeking a highly motivated Social Media Manager student assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Social Media Manager, you will work together with the rest of our team in developing and executing social media campaigns on LinkedIn.
You will be responsible for creating, monitoring and responding to social media messages and comments, helping to grow our social media following and engagement through community management and outreach. In addition, you will be assisting in tracking and analysing social media metrics and data to optimize performance.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute social media campaigns on LinkedIn that align with our company's brand and marketing goals
Create engaging content for our company's LinkedIn page
Monitor and respond to social media messages and comments in a timely and professional manner
Help grow our social media following and engagement through community management and outreach, including interacting with followers and identifying new audiences
Assist in tracking and analysing social media metrics and data to optimize performance and provide regular reports to the team
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media campaigns are aligned with overall marketing strategy
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study such as Marketing, Communications, or Digital Media
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience using social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
Ability to create compelling and engaging social media content, including graphics, images, and videos
Familiarity with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social is a plus
Detail-oriented and highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges
