Mercive is a fast-growing Shopify e-commerce agency based in Copenhagen, that helps brands realize the endless opportunities in the everchanging e-commerce space.
An Ecommerce Product Manager is responsible for the design and development projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. This includes working with account managers, designers, and developers to ensure projects run smoothly, with an emphasis on strong UX/UI support for the design and development teams. You must be able to manage resources and effectively communicate project updates to all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Project delivery
Work with account managers to define project scope, requirements, and timelines.
Manage the day-to-day of design and development projects, while ensuring they adhere to project plans, timelines and are delivered within budget.
Provide strong UX/UI support to designers and developers by providing recommendations and feedback based on project requirements and overall client guidelines.
Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure that projects meet client expectations and agency standards.
Manage resource utilisation and optimize team performance to ensure project success.
Setup content and configuration in Shopify based on client requirements.
New business
Work with account managers to identify new client opportunities and to understand client needs and create proposals that meet their requirements.
Participate in client pitches as needed to provide technical expertise and insights on design and development projects.
Collaboration
Foster collaboration and communication between project teams
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
eCommerce operations
Work with account managers to identify client CRO opportunities.
Conduct research to identify user behavior patterns and pain points.
Analyze data and develop hypotheses to improve conversions and UX for clients.
Collaborate with designers and developers to implement changes and test the effectiveness of the hypotheses.
Monitor and report on the success of CRO efforts to account managers.
Support in the management of client Shopify stores related to internalization, merchandising and client questions.
