We are looking for a Machine Software Developer Engineer to build and deliver machine software control solutions for ATLANT 3D’s line of products ranging from implementing the front-end software, user and preventive maintenance recipes, maintenance guide, system software interlocks, and a system simulator.
You will join a highly skilled and dedicated team of engineers and scientists and become a key participant in developing innovative solutions within nanotechnology. Cross-functional collaboration is the key to our success. We believe in combining theory and simulation with hands-on prototyping and testing.
We are looking for a Machine Software Developer Engineer to build and deliver machine software control solutions for ATLANT 3D’s line of products ranging from implementing the front-end software, user and preventive maintenance recipes, maintenance guide, system software interlocks, and a system simulator. The front end software should meet customer security and IP protection, as well as enable all safety interlock defined by the customers industry such the semiconductor manufacturing, and implementation of of-the-shelve solutions.
The Machine Software Developer Engineer needs to have relevant prior experience in software solutions for complex multidisciplinary system such as the ones in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The Machine Software Developer Engineer reports to the Head of Software Development, where as part of the Product Engineering Department will create and execute on comprehensive project plans for the product commercialization tasks.
Implement the system front end software architecture as agreed with the system engineering team.
Work closely together with the electronics engineering to select the best solutions that meet the requirements to the product
Define and develop user machine programing recipes that comply with the embedded system algorithms
Define and develop machine calibrations routines.
Coordinate and develop the interface controls to lower level software together with other members of the team as defined by the Software Architect.
Implement all the defined and developed solutions into the final product.
Test and debug own development for final handover.
Develop a machine simulator for off line testing of the software releases by you and other members of the software team and the QA
Use of third-party software libraries to increase effectiveness where possible while complying with licensing requirements.
Coordinating with other departments to ensure system level requirements are met and machines performs to customers’ expectations.
Supporting other departments to solve software related issues in the factory and at customer locations.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with minimum 8 years of relevant industrial experience
Proven experience in working on projects with complex multidisciplinary fabrication systems inclusive of real time machine control for micro-positioning, thermal management, material transfer and flows, sensor input and corresponding actions, user interface, etc. as for example used in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry.
Knowledge of software industry standards and preferred solutions for electronics and semiconductor industry
Extensive experience in machine software programming is a must
Experience in UML or equivalent documentation standard.
Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions on high level machine hardware is a must.
Extensive experience with C/C++ and Linux programming language is a must
Experience with simulations and implementing digital twins is a must
Experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence is a strong benefit
Experience with VHDL and Verilog programming is a benefit
Results-oriented with the ability to plan and deliver meeting project deadlines.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Experience working in time-critical projects with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written is a must
Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
You are easily self-motivated and proactive in collecting inputs and addressing issues timely.
