Salary Competitive

Do you love to write? And do you have a passion for disseminating clinical, technical and scientific knowledge in a structured and appealing format?

As a Medical Writer you will be engaged in several stages in the projects and help define the clinical communication strategy and storyline of our scientific publications. You will be the one to plan and author our clinical publications, including Clinical Evaluation Reports and scientific articles and abstracts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Communicating clinical data in a clear and concise manner

  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team on defining publication potential, scope and planning of activities, including authoring clinical study protocols

  • Preparing or reviewing manuscripts and white-papers to fulfill our ambition of communicating our clinical evidence

  • Planning, performing and documenting structured literature reviews

  • Taking charge of preparing, writing, editing, and reviewing regulatory (e.g. Clinical Evaluation Reports (CERs), clinical data reports or summaries) documents.

After two weeks...

You’ll already know all your new colleagues, who do what within Radiobotics, and who can help you out when you feel lost. Moreover, you will have enjoyed a few delicious breakfasts and Friday bars. You’ll be up and running with your new computer and will be familiar with our products and previous clinical work.

After 1 month…

You’ll be working on the first draft for a white-paper from one of our study activities. You will have had a few 1:1 meetings with your manager and your latte art game will be on point. You’ll start naming everything in your life with the RB prefix (like our products).

After 3 months...

You’ll be performing literature reviews and updating our clinical documentation in collaboration with the clinical and regulatory team. You will have participated in a few RBactivities outside the office and have your personal ranking of your favorite almond croissants in the city.

After 6 months...

By this date, you won’t be the RBrookie anymore, so you’ll be the lead in our clinical documentation and have authored your first Clinical Evaluation Report and submitted your first RBmanuscript for peer-review. You have played a significant role in the future publication strategy and will be the go-to-person for questions around our clinical evidence . Depending on the timing, you’ll have attended a work-away, won an RBmusic-quiz and you will have developed competitive Foosball/Petanque skills you didn’t know you had.

Qualifications

You love writing and excel in communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner. You pay great attention to detail and your ability to structure your tasks efficiently means that you deliver on time.

The ideal candidate will furthermore have

  • A master’s degree in health care, medical or life science and preferably a PhD

  • Excellent written communication skills in English and a clear and concise approach to writing, especially strong medical and technical writing skills.

  • Knowledge of clinical research and regulatory requirements.

  • A positive can-do attitude with a thorough and structured mindset while being pragmatic and not afraid of challenging status quo

Experience with writing clinical evaluations reports for medical devices or software as medical device products will be regarded as an asset, so will knowledge about EU-MDR requirements.

We are looking for someone who can work both independently, and as part of a cross-functional team, in a changing and dynamic environment with tight deadlines. You should be good at planning, coordinating and managing stakeholders to drive the writing process.

You will join our Clinical team and refer to our Chief Clinical and Scientific Officer, but you will engage with all corners of Radiobotics, including regulatory, sales, marketing and development as our key person for our clinical documentation.
