Linkfire is looking for a Payroll Specialist in Copenhagen, Denmark to join our finance team. In this role, you will own the payroll process and support the daily operations, working within a close-knit and fast paced team.

What you will do at Linkfire

• Own the entire payroll process from input to payout, ensuring efficiency, compliance and accuracy - now and in the future.

• Manage our freelancer platform (Deel) to ensure:

  • Invoices are submitted and freelancers are paid on time.

  • Assistance and communication with freelancers during the onboarding process

• Collaborate closely with our people and culture team on employee communication and input regarding payroll, pension, and warrants

• Be responsible for communication with SKAT and any supporting documentation or reconciliations regarding taxes and statistics in Denmark.

• Own the payroll and tax areas in the audit and closing process

• Support with daily bookkeeping, expenses, and reimbursement management as well as any ad-hoc tasks surrounding all of the above

Your qualifications

• You have at least two years’ experience running payroll from start to finish and are eager and confident in your ability to take ownership of the process

• You have knowledge and experience with the Danish corporate tax system and you are fluent in Danish

• You are comfortable working in English within an international and diverse team

• It’s a plus if you:

  • You have experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, audit and reporting

  • Have experience with Zenegy, E-conomic and/or Pleo

  • Have experience with Danish employment law surrounding pension, maternity and health insurance
