About the role:

As our new Head of Partnerships you will be setting up our new partnership strategy and framework, and be responsible for both maintaining current partnerships and establishing new ones. The goal is to provide our 3000+ members and 1000+ startups with the best services, benefits, and perks, to help them scale and succeed.

The partners in focus are investors, big corporates, ecosystem players, startups and our startup recruitment platform The Hub. Among our current partners, you will be working with companies like Schibsted, Cisco, Danske Bank, Entrepedia, Shifter, Danish Tech Startups and many many more.

As our new Head of Partnerships you will negotiate with senior profiles in the partner companies, and an important aspect of the role is that you are able to make our partners feel seen, to build long lasting relationships and brand Mesh as a great partner in the startup ecosystem.

At Mesh you will join our new Products & Services department, working closely with our Communications & Content Manager Kimberly and our CEO Anders, who you will report to. We are looking for 2 additional colleagues to join this team, including the Head of Partnerships, so a part of the role is also to help build the foundation of this new department.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Creating and maintaining a partnership strategy and framework.

  • Source new partners and negotiate and agree on partnership terms.

  • Implement new and maintain existing partnerships.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a broad network and a deep understanding of the Nordic Startup scene to be in charge of strategic partnerships. We imagine the ideal candidate to have a solid background working with B2B partnerships and Sales. You have strong confidence, are comfortable talking to C-level executives.

In addition you possess great storytelling abilities to make our partners see why they should collaborate with Mesh. This include being good at spotting new potential with current partners as well as new value-adding agreements.

As a person you are very organised and structured, able to keep many balls in the air and work with tight deadlines. You take pride in customer excellence, getting back to our partners when you promise, and giving them a beyond positive partner experience .

Requirements:

  • +5 years experience with b2b partnerships or sales

  • Experience negotiating with C level executives

  • Organised and good at meeting deadlines

  • Great communication skills and storytelling abilities

  • Can work on location (Remote not possible)

  • Fluent in English

Bonus points for:

  • Startup experience

  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box

We prefer our new colleague to work from Oslo, but Copenhagen, Trondheim, and Stockholm can also be accepted.
