The Growth department - in our Copenhagen office - needs an ambitious digitally savvy and commercial leader. Lead a team of 3 highly talented specialists, join forces with our CRO, and help us reach our growth targets and increase revenue! 📈🚀

We are looking to grow our business - not the dishes 🍽️ And what do we mean by that: Simply that our new head of Growth should be focused on our sales and customer journey - through data and growth hacking - eyes on the prize 👀. Within this focus, you will have to identify new growth opportunities as well as optimize the existing processes to ensure they are cost-effective and scalable. Overall, we are looking for a Head of Growth with a commercial mindset.

There's no I in team 🙌 As a Head of Growth you will be working closely with our CRO, be responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of growth strategies across different areas of the business. This includes SEO optimization, website CRO and ad platforms - to name a few. You will lead and mentor a team of growth specialist while reporting to our CRO - and furthermore you will of course be part of a great office environment with fun, smart and lovely colleagues - ready to cooperate and work on our company mission to ensure that everyone can live well.  What a noble goal! Klar is a home improvement scale-up with a proud history of over 100 % growth each year. If you have extensive experience in marketing and E-Commerce, 5+ years in a leadership role, outstanding project management and analytical skills? Then you might be our new colleague.  Do you think you can beat our records and push our marketing efforts for higher growth? Then you are the one we are looking for! Here's the facts: Your day-to-day responsibilities ✅ One of your most fundamental tasks will be steering the team towards attracting new prospects on the website and having them convert. The growth team currently consists of 2 FTE and 1 PTE: a Search Specialist, a Paid Social Specialist and a Price Analyst (PTE). 

More specifically, your tasks include:

  • Responsible for the Customer Journey leading up to or returning to a purchase - such as SEO, website CRO, setting up a structure for A/B testing

  • Strategic planning for ad platforms - we primarily use Google Ads, Meta Ads, Pinterest Ads & Bing Ads

  • Finding and executing on growth initiatives (Growth Hacking)

  • Website Tracking - we use server side Google Tag Manager (GTM)

  • Performance Reporting (BI) - in Google Data Studio & Google Sheets - analyzing business performance and creating monthly/quarterly reviews

  • Leading a team of 3 talented specialists


For you to be a success in Klar ⭐️, you need to have the following skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in leading a growth department, preferably for an eCommerce company

  • Extensive experience as a leader specializing in Marketing, eCommerce Growth and Conversion

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentorship skills

  • Data driven, mathematical mindset and abilities

  • Passionate about digital and using data to drive decisions

  • Ability to prioritize while thinking on macro level and be extremely detail oriented

  • You are comfortable with changes, and you thrive with identifying out-of-the-box ways to tackle new challenges

  • You are the one finding structure in a chaotic environment - and you enjoy it!

  • Is a plus if you have experience from scale-ups or fast-growth companies

  • Strong communication skills - English on the highest level - both oral and written

Where will you be working from?

We’re a vibrant team with great energy situated in Copenhagen (well, Valby) 😇. Our headquarters are in Tartu, Estonia - but you will be working from our cozy Danish office which is currently the ‘home’ of 19 cool, talented colleagues.

Our Copenhagen-based office is well connected to several public transportation points (bus and s-tog stations within 2 min walk) and has access to a large parking lot (if you are not a big fan of cycling 🚴).
