As a Site Reliability Engineer for Cludo, you'll help bridge the gap between development and operations through optimizing deployment pipelines, monitoring systems in our infrastructure through performance metrics, and automating tasks wherever possible. You will approach operations with a development mindset. 50% of your time will be aimed at operational work while the other 50% will be spent on engineering work to reduce future operational work.

What you'll do

Infrastructure Operations (50%) 

• Work in a production environment with technologies such as AWS and Kubernetes 

• Monitor systems through performance metrics 

• Track SLIs/SLOs 

• Debug and fix issues in case of failures 

• Work closely with development team 

Development (50%) 

• Apply automation to infrastructure operations through code 

• Develop monitoring solutions to be notified of performance anomalies 

• Control infrastructure programmatically 

What we need to see from you

• At least 3 years of experience in Backend Software Engineering and SRE 

• Experience of design, deployment, and scaling production environments on a large scale 

• Experience with Docker (dockerfiles and image management)  

• Skilled in configuring, managing and debugging Kubernetes clusters 

• Experience with AWS related technologies (I.e., EC2, EKS, ECS, ELB, RDS, ElastiCache, Lambda, etc.) 

• Strong knowledge of Cloud infrastructure principles such as load balancing, high availability, server/serverless architecture, and database configurations 

• Experience with DevOps practices like CI/CD, ideally with technologies including GitHub, TeamCity, and Octopus 

• Understanding of SLI/SLO/SLAs, monitoring and alerting best practices 

Bonus points if you have

• Experience with Elasticsearch clusters 

• Experience with Ansible
