The team

You will be part of our team consisting of 11 colleagues with different nationalities, who see it as their noblest task to support the entire business, and on that basis, you will be a big part of ensuring that our daily financial operations run smoothly globally.


Responsibilities

As Business Controller you will support in all aspects of financial management, you will be a key player in budget and forecast preparation, as well as the preparation of management reports and support C-level and our unit directors in financial matters. You’ll report directly to and work closely with our Head of Controlling and you will prepare financial statements and reports for several of our Danish and international companies.


Specifically, you will:

  • Prepare monthly financial board and management reports

  • Prepare budgets and forecasts

  • Have an active role in business controlling and analysis

  • Participate in internal group cost allocation

  • Provide input in cash management planning

  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and reports to support business decisions

  • Participate in transformation projects (e.g. reporting templates and cost structure analysis)

  • Participate in month-end and year-end close process


Who are you?

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong practical and theoretical financial foundation, and at the same time a business mindset.

You probably have a background from audit and/or a similar role with min. 4 years’ experience and you are used to working in an international environment. You thrive in a fast-paced work environment where growth and development go hand in hand. As a person, you easily forge strong relationships with all types of people, take ownership of your tasks, and you prefer to be busy with a lot of tasks and challenges.


You also have:

  • A Bachelor’s, HD or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Auditing

  • At least 4-5 years experiences from audit and/or a similar role

  • Knowledge of accounting systems (preferable Navision)

  • A high proficiency in Excel and Databases

  • A knack for numbers and business acumen

  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail

  • Solid understanding of accounting

  • Great English skills are required, and Danish or German language skills would be considered a plus

  • A self-starter mentality
