Join NordicGrow and help create the future of urban gardening. We use cutting-edge technology, including GPT and IoT sensors, to provide personalised gardening plans for our customers. We're looking for someone that can lead the software development in both front and backend. Today, we are using Ionic (Angular / Capacitor), Firebase cloud functions, firestore, and InfluxDB Cloud.

We are a very small team, with competences in software dev, business dev, communication, plant science and start-up life in general.

The position is partially funded thanks to grants but payment would be differed until the end of the project. The project is until end of July, but the role could grow into a more strategic position if the partnership is successful.

Strategy tasks:

Design a complete software architecture built for scaling.

Draw a software roadmap together with the CEO to follow the product roadmap.

Scout for the necessary competences to fulfill the objectives if necessary.

Dev tasks:

For the front-end skills, we are looking for someone that can take an existing design and adapt it to the framework’s capabilities. 

For the back-end we would appreciate someone that can draw an architecture on paper before coding head first. 

We use:

• GPT for generating personalised recommendations based on sensor data.

• Ionic (Angular / Capacitor) for hybrid app development.

• serverless functions (Firebase cloud), and firestore for backend logic.

• InfluxDB Cloud for IoT data and data analysis.

• BLE basic communication between the phone and sensor.

Our status:

We have a working MVP that is on the PlayStore and AppStore as beta versions. We are redesigning the entire interface. We are making our architecture more lean. We are about to launch a beta program to get a bigger pool of customers.

Location:

While flex work and partial remote works very well for us, we expect the developer to be able to join physically in Copenhagen around once a month.
