Do you have flair for data acquisition, data management and data analysis, and do you want to work with startups and startup data in a dynamic and fast-moving environment? If you do, you may be our new part time employee in our data projects.
We are looking for a university student or graduate who can be the driving force in our data projects, initially focusing on our NOME program for life science companies. Specifically, you will:
Gather data through startup surveys and interviews as well as by searching the internet for available public information
Consider and gather data for benchmarking purposes
Identify data gaps and suggest additional data points of interest for the project
Arrange and manage data to make it accessible and structured, and suggest routines for future data collection
Analyze the data to retrieve as much information and conclusions as possible. You will take the lead in this, but will be backed by data professionals
Take lead in preparing a data report containing data sources, analyses, methods and conclusions.
The project is expected to take approximately five months, with strong opportunities for continuation into more data projects or other roles if you are interested. We like to mention that several current colleagues in Accelerace started with us as part time student/graduate workers.
You will be guided and supervised by senior Accelerace staff throughout the project.
You have a strong interest in data and have gained skills in data collection and analysis
You are excited about startups and find it interesting to identify drivers of startups success and failure
You are self-going, innovative and have a strong drive as well as good communication skills
You are able to write in English and can communicate conclusions in a clear and understandable way
Understanding of the life science area is a plus
We look for a person who can start immediately and who is available to complete the project, five months period as a minimum. We expect the project will require around 20 hours of working time per week. More hours are expected during periods of peaking activity.
