Scaleup Finance provides start-ups and growing companies with a subscription-based solution to reduce the burden of financial modeling and finance admin for founders. Our model is based on two pillars: Tech Enablement through our Financial Management Platform, and a service layer made up of experienced finance professionals.

In the first 18 months, we've gone from 4 to 75+ employees and over 120 clients in Denmark. We've just raised $8m in seed funding, a record for a Danish-founded company. With the new capital, we have set up a London office to service UK customers and continue developing our software platform.

To take our legal compliance to the next level, we are looking for a legal assistant to help ensure our compliance, work closely with our CFO, and be part of scaling the legal team as Scaleup Finance grows globally.

What will you be working on?

At Scaleup Finance we are growing fast and your tasks as a legal assistant will therefore naturally develop as well. Short term your tasks will however primarily be to work with helping Secure GDPR compliance, build and maintain an Employee Stock Option Programme (ESOP), contract review, due diligence preparation, and corporate UK/DK Law. You will be the first legal employee in Scaleup Finance and need to take a big ownership of building the legal processes.

In the role you will be working closely together with our CFO, Finance Manager, and from time to time our UK MD and CEO

As a legal assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and know-how about what it takes to build a legal team in a scaleup SaaS company, and get the chance to put the theory from your studies into practice by assisting and advising colleagues and customers.
