We are looking for a Computer vision engineer who is passionate about code, innovation, startups, tech, and wellness.

We’re on a mission to offer wellness and massage to every body. Literally! Our non-human masseuse offers high-quality but affordable massages. It also never gets tired and doesn’t need small talk.

Our franchise concept is quite similar to the tanning salon model. Our vision is to have an automated massage salon in every major city in the world. With 300 salons we’d be considered a unicorn (worth $1 billion). This is achievable with only 80 human employees!

Our short-term goal is to open 3 salons in Europe. That would make us franchise and Series A ready.

You’ll play a key role in the development of Self. massage robot by being part of the core engineering team focusing on robotics software and solving new complex problems.

With an understanding of the chaos and lack of structure that sometimes describe a start-up, the ideal candidate will enjoy seeking opportunities and will be energized by our high ambitions and growth expectations, embracing the challenge of building an international company from nothing.

You'll be working alongside our main technical advisor, Jimmy Jorgensen, from Nordbo Robotics. He will act as a temporary CTO until we find the right full-time CTO.

Potential technical areas you will focus on:

• Position adaption tracking

• Computer vision and point cloud

• Identifying body joints

• Interpolation of trajectory based on computer vision (identification of muscles and joints)

• (Machine learning and AI)
