The use of bacteria in biotech and biopharma is growing exponentially. There is enormous untapped potential in using nature's microorganisms in everything from new pharmaceuticals to redesigning resource-intensive chemical industrial processes. SBT Instruments is one of the most promising high-tech startup companies in Denmark. SBT develops, manufactures and supplies equipment to carry out bacterial counts for biotech and biopharma in Europe and in the US.
In the role as Technical Sales Specialist at SBT you will have to follow up on the many inquires we receive daily about our products, and you will get to hunt new customers within known markets.

Primary tasks
You will get to work with the largest pharma and biotech companies in the world. Your tasks will primarily be to
Cultivate new customers in existing markets
Manage incoming leads generated by our marketing
Develop EU-based leads from "New" to "Closed Won"
Understand the customers' problems and how our products can help them
Ensure that our customers are happy
Ensure that our customers get useful results, either on their own or with the help of the organization
Ensure that we make additional sales to existing customers
Your profile
We are looking for driven and ambitious people. We are very happy to receive applications from people who have just graduated or who only have a few years of professional experience. Previous experience in sales, especially technical sales, is a big plus, but not an absolute requirement. However, you must be socially and technically strong, as both are major elements in our sales work.
We expect you to have a master's degree in biotech or microbiology. An MSc in Business Administration and Bioentrepreneurship from CBS, or similar, will also be a good match to the role.
You must be fluent in English, both written and verbally. Speaking a second European language will be considered a plus.
