We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Carbon Footprint analyst / Industrial sustainability engineer to join our team and assist with Carbon Footprint calculations. In this position, you will play a key role in measuring and monitoring the carbon footprint calculated for our clients on our platform and participate in developing our platform. You will also have to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in carbon accounting and reduction methodologies and technologies. The work location for this role can either be at our Copenhagen office or at our office in Bjerringbro in Jutland.

Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities in this role includes:
Ensure compliance with local, national, or international regulations regarding carbon emissions and sustainability.
Provide recommendations and solutions to clients to improve their sustainability performance.
Assist the development team in building the carbon footprint calculation model in conformity with the GHG protocol and the ISO standards.
Measure and monitor the clients' energy consumption, waste production, and other activities that contribute to the carbon footprint.
Identify and advice on opportunities for reducing the clients carbon footprint through the implementation of more sustainable practices and technologies.
Communicate the results and progress of the carbon footprint analysis to the relevant stakeholders, including management, employees, and external partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and carbon offsetting.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance.
Experience with carbon accounting standards such as ISO 14064 and The Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
Experience with life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies and tools.
Experience in conducting carbon footprint analysis for different sectors and industries.
