MELLO is a start-up developing unique micro-encapsulation technology solutions to better improve the stability of probiotics + other bioactives during processing, storage + gastro-intestinal transfer. We're a small team located at the BioInnovation Institute (BII) in Copenhagen, working closely with DTI in Aarhus.

We're looking for a candidate with a background in Life Science who can support Musemma, our inhouse scientist, to run experimental work in the lab.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re looking for a candidate with all/some of the following skills:

1. Microbial fermentation and growth monitoring and characterization.

2. Microbial enumeration and staining techniques.

3. Knowledge or experience on particle and/or droplet size distribution analysis or similar.

4. Determination of surface charges of solid particles.

5. Knowledge or experience with analysis of adhesion of microbial surfaces.

6. Knowledge or experience with micro-encapsulation techniques.

You will spend part of your time in the lab but will also be required to fulfil other ‘desk’ related activities.
