Chainge is part of Copenhagen's growing bicycle ecosystem. We deliver goods on electrically assisted cargo bikes that in addition to enabling navigating the city in a swift, easy, and safe manner also help reducing the number of vans in the streets and thereby lessening traffic congestion, noise nuisances and air pollution – we are on a mission to replace conventional delivery vans with a green option. It’s a serious mission we’re on, but while we do it, we want to have fun:-)
We are a small team with different nationalities and abilities, but we have our passion for sustainability, logistics and the green transition and bikes in common. Our drive is to create a new standard for last-mile deliveries.
As a part of a startup, you’ll be focusing on lots of different aspects within the field of people and culture - on both a strategic and tactical level. Therefore, the list of responsibilities is long. But you’ll help us define what we should do and when and then we’ll take it step by step.
Based in our Copenhagen office (flexibility in work location), you’ll be responsible for key areas such as:
Run the recruitment processes together with our CEO and help source the right people
Provide leadership and direction to promote a positive work environment founded on our core values
Define and oversee onboarding and offboarding processes
Build our people strategy short and long-term
Identify and set up the HR systems we need
Handle various tasks across our employee life-cycle processes and procedures
Help develop our hiring plan
Plan and arrange internal events
Set up meaningful targets and track them accordingly
Be responsible for work environment and the contact with Danish authorities on the matter (includes APV, action plans, employee satisfaction surveys etc.)
Making yourself and us proud of the work you’ve done
In this role, you should expect lots of informal, strategic conversations with the CEO and the rest of the team. Our people are extremely important to us, and we want to make sure we get it right. That’s also why this is one of our most important hires. However, you’ll have little oversight on your day-to-day work and lots of freedom when it comes to executing. We’re looking for someone who knows better than us how to implement our desired culture and values. In most cases, you’ll tell us what we need, not the other way around. That’s why experience is required. But you might not tick all the boxes below and that is absolutely fine.
