About the job:
As we continue to grow and build even stronger strategic positions, we are looking for a Company CFO to take responsibility for a small team of super-dedicated employees. We believe in automation and process optimization to build an ever-scaling financial engine. However, you will be expected to take the lead and engagement in all financial aspects, but first and foremost in leading the team and the daily doing of the finance departments areas of responsibility, which include reporting and participation in management meetings, strategic governance, and participation, as well as, overseeing legal matters.
You will report directly to the CEO and you will have an instrumental impact on the development of the business and be an important part of taking us to the next level.
As CFO, we expect you to show exceptional leadership by enhancing the team spirit and contributing to the well-being of everybody in the company and taking responsibility for the following tasks:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Finance department
Produce transparency and insight with financial and performance reporting monthly, quarterly, and annually, to all stakeholders
Overseeing and taking part in the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing
Participation in the strategic management group and overseeing high-level decisions about policy and strategy
Plan, implement, and manage investment strategies
Assuring legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitoring compliance with laws and regulations
Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities for the company
Map out and optimize internal processes and workflows
Who are you?
You have well-developed skills in management, accounting, and finance, and if you know nothing about the eCommerce industry – do not worry we have you covered. We have a well-tailored ramp-up program for you and will get you to the needed level of eCommerce expertise – all we need is for you to be open-minded, a fast learner, and willing to build a strong set of skills in understanding the mix of metrics in eCommerce and SaaS.
Besides that, we need you to have a proven traditional toolbox that includes financial tools combined with a good business understanding, and a positive and communicative personality. Furthermore, we expect you to have experience managing small teams and have the following qualifications:
At least 4 years of relevant experience managing a financial team, you have preferably earned your stripes from being in the financial controller role yourself
Strong IT skills and knowledge of building up P&L and structure for unit economics
Strong experience with investor relations, understanding and articulating business cases
Highly experienced Excel User
Fluency in English is mandatory, while Danish is an advantage
You take great responsibility for your tasks and have a problem-solving mindset
