Job Description

We are seeking a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development. This position requires a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.

✅Your Tasks

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality

• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture

• Helping maintain an effective, responsive, and fast website & booking system.

• You will be challenged to both DESIGN and BUILD landing pages

• Hands-on development of our product and website, which includes the development of HTML/CSS and web pages based on wireframes and visual designs, and implementation of commercial and open-source web technologies

• Knowledge of web analytics and experience implementing and testing scripts

• Responsive design experience

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Experience creating graphics from scratch using Photoshop/Illustrator or similar software

• Work closely with our marketing team to produce landing pages and subpages in WordPress

• Thoroughly test your work on multiple browsers and mobile devices

• Demonstrate effective communication with fellow team members and management

• Rapidly prototype ideas in order to learn what works and how to elevate concepts to the next level

⭐️About You

• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications

• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites

• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers

• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)

• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development

• Troubleshooting content issues

• Conducting website performance tests

• Monitoring the performance of the live website

• Familiarity and experience with building booking forms

• Startup compatible: you’re comfortable with changing roles, blistering speed, and figuring it out as you go along.

• Fluent in written and spoken English (Danish is not a requirement but a bonus)
