Hala Collective is looking for a Social Media & Community Engagement Intern to help build an inspiring, inclusive and diverse community online - is it you?
What will you do?
You will be an integral part of the team. You will get your hands dirty and do lots of real work with full support from a great team of experienced, international colleagues.
Examples of tasks you will do are:
Plan, create and schedule content for our SoMe platforms according to our social strategy and design guidelines.
Cultivate our online community by nurturing conversations with our target audience.
Engaging with other accounts to help us build meaningful connections online.
Conduct research to feed into social media planning.
Give insights into what’s working best to help us optimise our planning.
Helping out with photoshoots and other campaign planning.
Assisting with broader launch activities such as pop-up events.
What kind of person are we looking for?
You are a self-starter and quick to learn new things.
You have impeccable English (native level or close) and can write catchy, compelling copy. You know how to engage with people emotionally through storytelling.
You have graphic design skills and can design social posts following our visual guidelines.
You think commercially, and are interested in broader marketing activities alongside social media.
You have experience with building online communities.
You are interested in working with sustainability and social responsibility.
You’re organised, structured and a great team player.
You have impeccable attention to detail and research and reference information.
You’re great at sticking to deadlines.
