Visual Designer (Internship) with massive Social Impact!

Salary Unpaid

Hey there! Tiimo is looking for an intern to take on the role of our next Visual Designer. We need someone passionate about motion graphics and digital content and eager to develop their skills! We are a purpose-driven team that loves working together, and you will be an essential part of our Brand & Marketing team!

We hope you love creating high-quality digital content and get excited by compelling storytelling through visual communication. Our content ranges from all-kind of motion graphics and illustrations to videos on our different digital channels, advertisements, branded content - and of course, within the app itself!

Your primary responsibility will be to:

  • Create compelling digital content based on raw video and photo material that makes it easy to understand Tiimo as a product and captures the many positive human stories and emotions we experience from our users.

  • Assistance with aligning the final version of the piece to its appropriate distribution platform

  • Supporting the Marketing & Brand and Product team with ad hoc visual creative tasks. This might include brainstorming video animation ideas, translating written content to video, etc.

  • Contribute to our considerate, positive, and passionate culture

We will thus be looking for you to combine footage with audio, graphics, and effects to portray clear narratives and make creative storytelling decisions along the way. It’s essential that you enjoy being part of a team and dare to take charge of your projects.

We would also love you to keep working with us after your internship as our next student assistant or full-time employee. Pretty exciting stuff (we think)!

Working stuff

  • The position is a 3-6 month unpaid full-time internship. Depending on what works best for you, we would like you to start somewhere between January 1st and February 15, 2023.

  • We are a team of 20 people (from many different nationalities)

  • English is our working language

  • Diversity, equality, and inclusion are essential to us. These are values that we live, that we feel are reflected within our current team and are important to us going forward with new hires as well. We of course, welcome applicants who are Neurodivergent and/or disabled

Other very important benefits :)

  • An opportunity to help make the world more neuroinclusive and reach and positively impact thousands of wonderful users around the world 🧡

  • A cool and friendly team who loves working together

  • Flexibility! We’re all wired differently, and our needs are not all the same

  • As much responsibility as you want and help from an experienced team 💪🏽

How to apply

  • We will get in touch with successful applicants for the next round, which will involve a task followed by a short interview. If you have any questions about the job, you are welcome to contact us.

Tiimo | Planning & Productivity

The world wasn’t built for neurodivergent people - but we’re changing that. Tiimo is a radical reimagining of what planning can be when it’s designed for brains that don’t fit the mold. ADHD, Autism, executive function challenges? We get it. Traditional productivity tools demand rigid structure, endless lists, and an energy level that just doesn’t match how our brains operate. So we built something better. The problem we’re solving Most planning tools assume that time feels concrete, motivation is unlimited, and reminders alone will keep people on track. That’s not reality for everyone. For neurodivergent folks - people whose brains process information, time, and focus differently - the challenge isn’t a lack of effort. It’s friction, overwhelm, and tools that don’t adapt to the way we think. The result? A cycle of frustration, missed deadlines, and feeling like we’re failing at systems that were never designed for us in the first place. Why Tiimo? Tiimo isn’t about forcing people into a system that was never made for them - it’s about rewriting the rules entirely. We’re building a world where productivity isn’t about grind culture but about actually working with your brain. A world where visual timelines replace overwhelming lists, gentle nudges replace blaring alarms, and structure is built to support, not suffocate. Founded in 2015, Tiimo was one of the first digital planning tools designed specifically for neurodivergent people. We’re a woman-founded company that has grown into a global movement, proving that productivity isn’t one-size-fits-all. Our work has been shaped by lived experience, community feedback, and the belief that different brains deserve different tools. We’re not just another productivity app. We’re a rebellion against rigid systems. A movement for accessible, intuitive, and affirming tech. If you believe in designing tools that work for people - not the other way around - you’re in the right place.
