At Turis, we are looking for a frontend developer to join our development team in Copenhagen.

We are looking for a developer who's open to doing things the start up way, where new features and fixes are developed (almost) simultaneously and where we challenge the more traditional approaches to development simply because they don't always make sense.

Some of your tasks will be

• Implementing new functionality in close collaboration with our Product team, which includes backend developers and a designer

• Advising on implementation and technology on new and existing features (we don't just ask our developers to code, we want you to share your opinion)

• Project management (from a technical point of view) on bigger tasks

• Optimization of existing features

• Fixing the occasional bug every now and then

• Reviewing code from your new best friends (your colleagues)

You will also

• Work with compatibility testing to make sure that Turis works across devices in a similar experience

• Identify (via automatic tools) and fix frontend related errors

• Research relevant tools and frameworks for potential implementation

• Have an ongoing focus on frontend performance

Technologies that you know and/or have worked with

• JavaScript / Vue.js

• TypeScript

• HTML/CSS (Ninja Level, of course)

• Implementation of APIs in frontend templates

• Are more interested in working in a young (and start up) environment where things are casual and where rules are to be broken over working in a strict corporate setting

• Like to speak your mind before you start coding. We want everyone to do their best also if it means challenging the tasks you are given

• Like to work in our office but also like to work at your home office from time to time (it's up to you but we are flexible)
