For our team in Copenhagen, we are looking for a talented and creative iOS developer. Ideally, you've previously worked in professional development teams, and are aware of both your strengths and (just as importantly) your weaknesses. If you've previously shipped complex, UI intensive apps, it's a big plus. However, we're also interested in hearing from talented developers without much corporate experience. A passion for creating clever solutions is something we value a lot.
We are advocates for native app development, and prefer this method over cross platform development. We strongly believe that native development results in the best user experiences. However, if you have any prior experience with cross platform technologies such as React Native or Flutter, it's not a bad thing. Any experience with Kotlin Mobile Multiplaform (KMM) is also a plus.
We work in a pragmatic startup-like fashion in which our developers have a great deal of influence on the end result. The very best solutions are the result of developers using their abilities to their fullest potential. We're not looking for someone who will never challenge perceived notions, when they know a better solution than the one proposed. In other words, this is a company where everyone has a say.
We're Novasa, Denmarks first app agency. Our story began way before anyone had proved that developing apps for clients in an agency model was a viable business model. It turned out that we were on to something, although we did have to wait for the arrival of iOS and Android for things to really take off.
We work for a wide variety of clients, ranging from startups to large, market-leading companies. Some of our clients include REMA 1000, Copenhagen Airports and Infomedia. Our approach is always the same, whether we're working on an app for an upstart or an established business. This includes a strong focus on quality UX and design, and a desire to make solid solutions that will stand the test of time.
We provide a relaxed and inclusive work environment. Our office is located at Søtorvet by the Lakes in Copenhagen, close to Nørreport Station.
We prefer to work in person at our office, but remote work is a possibility from time to time. We're flexible. However, being in commuting distance from Copenhagen is a big plus.
We share our office space with two other interesting companies in the same space as us, so there is a great, collegial atmosphere in the office.
Our primary work language is Danish, so proficiency with this language is a big plus, but let's be real, we can't expect the perfect candidate to be fluent in this obscure language. In that case, good written and spoken English is an absolute must.
Does this sound like something for you? If so, we would love to hear from you!
