Who Is Dental Media?

Dental Media is a fast-growing Health-tech company revolutionizing the way Dental Practices – attract, retain and maximize patient long-term value. Our SaaS platform has gained huge momentum and is used by a large number of Scandinavian Dental Practices as well as leading Dental Service Organizations. We are scaling to new markets and need to strengthen our team with a highly motivated and talented Financial Controller that can help drive our company to the next level.

What are we looking for in a Financial Controller?

As our new Financial Controller you will be working closely with our CEO and be responsible for building a professional and sustainable operation and infrastructure including both strategic and day-to-day financial responsibilities.

Your top responsibilities, but not limited to, are the following:

• Internal financial reporting, ranging from updating budgets and reporting on all metrics.

• Managing bookkeeping and VAT reporting

• All aspects of salary and reporting

• Preparations for financial report year-end

• Managing the process of automating as many processes as possible by looking into technology and out-sourcing if it makes sense

• And probably a lot more that we haven’t thought of yet…

What does it take to succeed in this position?

For you to be successful in this position, we expect you to be very entrepreneurial and have a couple of years of experience within finance, accounting or similar.

Furthermore, we also expect the following:

• You have several years’ experience within similar position and having worked within SaaS and internationally is a plus

• You have excellent relationship and communication skills

• You are comfortable working with e-conomic and danløn

• You love tech, and looking at how you can automate and improve on processes

• You are a major team-player

• Always go for the “win”

• Work independently and assume full ownership

• Excellent English and master min. 1 Scandinavian language

• ...and, you are not afraid of calling a client that missed a bill

What’s it like to work with us?

We are a team of younger professionals within many disciplines from IT development, Digital Marketing, Sales etc. This creates a diverse environment with focus on development. We are a high-paced team, but also have time for social activities which includes having a beer together on Fridays, and every now and then we host a Friday bar. Even though we are a diverse team from a professional perspective, we use each other's knowledge on a daily basis. This allows you to develop your personal qualifications and apply your experience and skills. 

Our office is at Refshaleøen Copenhagen -1 min from public transport. You will be working a normal 37 hours/week.
