Back-end Game Developer

Are you the person who can program the back-end of new games based on a concept description but at other times be a part of a team working to improve a live title? - then please read on:

YOU AND TROPHY GAMES

Just around 1.000.000 users around the world play one or more Trophy Games titles every month - and that number will rise over the coming years. One way that we want to ensure this is through adding new games to our already 15 games strong portfolio. With this position we want to expand our around 50 person strong development organization with a back-end focused person who primarily can participate in taking 1-2 new game titles through the process of getting from their current concept stage, all the way through to live - and life thereafter. But at other times it is likely to be more relevant that you’ve got a steady hand in developing the back-end of a game that’s already live and is built by somebody else. The job is a full-time position (not a project hire) ideally covered from our wonderful Copenhagen office.

VALUABLE AND IMPORTANT TASKS

We’re looking for a person who feels comfortable applying their creative talent on developing the best (mobile first) manager game experiences on the market. This position is with a team that will be put together to execute these new titles and in order for you to add to the small but efficient team, you’re probably thinking “damn - I’m good at that” to the following:

• Work on a game from concept to live

• PHP programming

• PHP/Laravel package development

• MySQL

• Performance focused development and optimization

• Developing new features based on existing code framework

• Git experience

• Linux experience

  
  

On top of feeling comfortable with the above, you're a team player who's used to achieving your goals in collaboration with others and you’re not afraid to air your opinions whilst listening to your teammates as well. Oh - and by the way: You also love games :-)
