About The Association

Our mission is to create the best conditions for tech startups and scale-ups, and ensure the growth of tech companies in Denmark. More than 50 experienced tech startup entrepreneurs and investors took the initiative to create the Association in the summer of 2020 including Tradeshift, Planday, Vivino, Too Good To Go, Pleo, Founders, Rainmaking and Queue-it. We believe an important part of this is to build stronger connections between the entrepreneurs, investors and company builders that shape our local communities and that there is great power in bringing good people together under the same roof.

About the role

Danish Tech Startups is looking for a driven Head of Members to join our small team to support our rapid growth as well as develop and ensure the best conditions for growing a tech startup in Denmark.

Main tasks:

• Stakeholder management (partners, members)

• Build relevant acquisition lists in close collaboration with the chairman

• Continuously optimise the member onboarding flow

• Develop and kickstart our association Workgroup Committees yearly calendar flow as well as membership journey

• Acquisition activities of Group 1-5 (tech companies with 0-100+ employees) and Ecosystem partners.

  
  

We’re Looking for Someone Who

• Has affinity with startups/the startup ecosystem and thrives in a fast-paced environment

• Is very organised and can keep track of 10.000 ideas and events at the same time and is not afraid of ranking and prioritising the ones with the highest impact for the association and the startups.

• Has a natural talent for understanding and running digital communication platforms e.g. Google Drive, Hubspot, Slack etc. 

• Has excellent communication and acquisition skills in English and Danish, required for internal and external communication.

• Is outgoing and like to meet people and build community

• Has a strong hands-on approach and like to be involved in a wide range of tasks
