As our Lead Prospecting intern, you will be expected to filter through various platforms (mainly Hubspot) to find and identify possible customers. The identified leads will then be distributed to our sellers, who will try to create a collaboration with them. Moreover, as a lead researcher, it will be one of your responsibilities to improve, under our mentorship of course, the work of our sales team and fill our pipeline with prospective customers.
The importance of lead prospecting to the sales process is underscored by the fact that they are ultimately in charge of locating potential customers for our products or services. You will be working closely with our Head of Sales to efficiencice our customer database and generate new leads. Additionally, you can expect to work with our Marketing team to sort our inbound leads
Lead Prospecting is in very high demand at this moment as it essentially has a direct effect on company growth. Establishing a lead funnel is the cornerstone of a productive sales team that meets and exceeds revenue targets. The sales team, therefore, needs people who can generate leads by locating and engaging with the most relevant part of its target audience.
Through this internship, you will acquire all the necessary skills to launch your future career in account management, sales management, inside sales, business development management, strategic accounts management, and so on.
Responsibilities will therefore be including, but not limited to:
Updating and mantaintanence of ICPs (ideal customer profile).
Research of contact information.
Pipeline formation and upkeep.
On-going assessment of evaluation designs.
Conduct customer research on an ongoing basis.
You must be a student currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree or similar, preferably within Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a similar field.
Knowledge of Hubspot.
Tech savvy and especially Apolo experience is a big plus.
Good communication skills
Able to work independently.
Full professional fluency in English, and knowledge of German is a plus.
Are eligible for a full-time internship.
Strong quantitative and qualitative evaluation design skills.
Experience with research and maintaining databases.
Understanding of buying personas.
Critical thinking and the ability to voice your opinion.
Ability to follow through and close projects independently.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative.
Excellent planning, analytical and organizational skills.
Curious, and self-driven.
Structured and systematic.
