The Data Scientist at Cludo is a data storyteller, who is an expert in building and identifying innovative algorithms that drive business value for our customers worldwide. You will use search events and other data to harvest insights, improve relevancy, and enhance user tools. 

We are seeking an intellectual problem-solver, combined with the drive to uncover needle-in-a-hay-stack data that delivers new analysis for Cludo’s site search solution. We also would like to find someone that resides near our Copenhagen office that can observe a hybrid schedule on a consistent basis. 

What you'll do

Develop (30%)

• Leverage machine learning and statistical toolsets to evaluate and create informative search and analytics software

Maintain (30%)

• Manage and expand upon existing Data Scientist solutions at Cludo

Discover (20%)

• Discover and propose alternative data sources for improved search and analytics

Insights (10%)

• Summarize and present key findings from POCs and other exploratory tasks for the product team

What we need to see from you

• At least 2 years of experience with Data Analysis and/or Machine Learning 

• B.S., M.S., Ph.D. in a scientific or quantitative field 

• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (I.e. Python) 

• Experience building high-performance computational software 

• Ability to integrate structured and unstructured data 

• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, tools and techniques 

• Experience with statistical research techniques 

• Ability to work collaboratively 

Bonus points if you have

• Background in Natural Language Processing, Natural Language Inference, and/or Natural Language Understanding 

• Experience with docker 

• Experience with SQL, ElasticSearch, or Clickhouse 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
