Customer Service Specialist (with Zendesk Experience)

We are looking for an additional Customer Service Specialist to join our team and work on the front line for MATE across all our markets. In this position you will ensure that our customers always have a great experience both before and after their purchase. 

For this position on our CS team, we are looking for an individual who has experience with Zendesk to become the go-to person on the team to manage and improve our current setup. Our team will also naturally provide you with the knowledge and skills to become an expert in our MATEs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide professional support to all customers via email and chat with everything from orders to simple technical questions - and everything in between

  • Be one of your team's go-to people for technical questions about the bike and its electrical components 

  • Sharing customer feedback with other departments teams, detecting customer impacting issues and finding potential solutions

  • Maintain and improve our Zendesk setup (settings, views, triggers, automations, holiday calendar, etc.)

  • Building exhaustive knowledge of our products so you can service customer effectively 

  • Use a variety of tools such as Zendesk and Trustpilot to navigate customer enquiries 


Your Skills Requirement

  • At least one year experience in working with Zendesk

  • Experience delivering excellent customer service, both verbally and written

  • Experience within Online Marketing, e-commerce or the e-mobility environments is preferred

  • English proficiency (additional languages are a PLUS)   

  • Basic skills in Word, Excel and G-mail

  • Willingness to learn, combined with a strong can-do attitude 

  • Able to perform under pressure
