In our Product team at Trendsales, we’re looking for two product designers to join us full time. Are you dreaming about being part of an ambitious and talented team of designers, developers and product managers working to solve problems that will push sustainable consumption one release at a time? Then keep reading!
We believe that together with you and all our climate conscious buyers and sellers we can challenge fast fashion and overconsumption. Trendsales is Denmark's largest secondhand marketplace in fashion & lifestyle, and for years we’ve fought that battle. Our industry is really seeing tailwinds and our marketplace business is growing in a sustainable way in these troubling times.
With our state of the art product experiences and technologies we make it safe and easy to trade preloved — good for the environment and good for the wallets. But we have so much we want to improve and we need you on our team to help us do that.
Solve problems and deliver solutions with a focus on a great user experience while balancing user needs, company goals, design cohesion and ease of implementation.
Work as part of a team of developers, product managers and stakeholders
Doing research, form hypotheses, creating user stories, flows, wireframing, ideation and prototyping — and obviously refining and delivering crisp high-fidelity interface designs.
Deliver in alignment with our Brand, Design Language System and other relevant guidelines.
Work alongside peer designers in design critique sessions.
You are curious by nature and have an eagerness to learn.
You care about our planet and think our mission is important.
You have a relevant education and/or portfolio with at least 3 projects that can showcase your skills within the field of UX and digital design (preferably mobile).
+2 years of experience in a similar role.
You are a super user of Figma or similar tools.
You have a flair for managing projects and have excellent time management skills. You might even have PM experience or aspirations.
You are fluent in English and/or Danish.
You could have a burning side interest in animations, micro interactions/animations or know a thing or two about UX microcopy.
An office located in the heart of Copenhagen.
Work from the office, home or in your treetop house, but we expect to see you in person weekly during the first 3 months.
Flexible work hours and an open vacation policy — we care about a good work life balance.
Competitive salary and pension.
Our parental leave offering is 30 weeks for moms and weeks for co-parents. Fully paid (after 18 months of employment).
Company healthcare plan.
Fully equipped workstation of your choosing.
Monthly secondhand budget.
Catered lunch and fully stocked kitchen with snacks.
Great colleagues and quarterly company events.
Every 5 week we start a new development cycle (4 weeks of focused work +1 week of cool-down).
In each cycle, we form small teams (3-5 people) that will work together on one big project or a collection of smaller projects throughout the cycle. The 4 weeks of focused work is long enough to take on relatively big projects and short enough to avoid "forever-projects".
The following cool-down week is an opportunity for all team members to wind down, fix up something, mix and match across the entire team to prototype crazy ideas that create value, and last but not least, to reflect and prepare for the next cycle.
Product designers spend 4 weeks with Product Managers and stakeholders to work on problems for the upcoming cycle. They also plan further ahead in alignment with PM’s. Across tracks we check-in frequently to give design critiques and do our best to aid each other's work.
We would like you to apply via The Hub.
We will do running interviews, so apply as soon as possible — latest 31. October.
We encourage anyone to apply no matter gender, sexuality, race or religion.
We can’t wait to meet you!
