Accounts Payable Specialist

This role oversees the global Accounts Payable processes for Siteimprove. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in their work. The candidate should also be efficient and flexible, organized, have excellent follow-through, and show an ability to prioritize multiple tasks. This position reports to the Accounting Manager. 


Responsibilities

  • Processing payables transactions and coordination of periodic payment processing, ensuring timely payment of vendors’ invoices.

  • Maintenance of invoice approval workflows, ensuring invoices are correctly routed for approvals and follow-up as necessary for outstanding approvals.

  • Maintain accurate payables records and reports

  • Manage vendor information, corresponding with vendors for up-to-date information.

  • Lead in year-end reporting responsibilities.

  • Assist in the development of processes and procedures for a role in Accounts Payable

  • Improve role performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies

  • Assist with accounting systems implementations

  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis

  • Other duties and projects as assigned by Accounting Manager


Required Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in payables processing


Preferred Experience

  • Experience analyzing and reporting financial data

  • Expertise to communicate in both written and verbal correspondence, listening effectively, and sharing information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization

  • Ability to determine task priority and organize daily and long-term work

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask

  • Prior experience with ERP systems, with a focus on payables processing

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong experience with various ERP and CRM platforms. The ideal candidate also has knowledge of software including but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Edge, Google Chrome, and Outlook.


Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • This is primarily an in-office position at our Copenhagen office, with the opportunity to work from home as needed.

  • Travel is not required for this role
